The purpose of our church, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is to glorify God, making disciples of Jesus Christ who cultivate, communicate and celebrate a lifestyle of following Jesus.
To glorify God through connecting people to Jesus and each other.
We are a community of prayer confidently seeking strength, wisdom, discernment, and direction in communion with God. (Colossians 4:2; Hebrews 4:16)
We intentionally seek, within the context of relationships, to bring people to emotional and spiritual maturity that reflects the character of Christ and helps them to do the same in others. (Philippians 3:17, 4:9)
We are a loving and accepting community of faith who are transparent with each other, who trust God to protect us and who do not compromise the Scripture’s injunction to holiness. (Ephesians 4:25, 29-32; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Galatians 6:1-5; Colossians 3:12-14)
We are witnesses of Jesus, sharing the Gospel through our words and actions wherever we are. (Matthew 5:16; Acts 1:8; Colossians 4:3-4)
With sincere love for those outside the church, and genuine concern for justice, we provide a variety of opportunities to build relationships that draw people into a lifestyle of following Jesus. (Micah 6:8; Colossians 4:5-6; James 2)
